QSC L CLASS IN PRACTICE: SAMSON EVENTS ON THE LA108 AND LA112

How do you choose the right loudspeaker system for different types of productions? US-based Samson Events provides a great example of how different QSC systems can complement each other within a single production inventory. The Los Angeles-based production company started out more than ten years ago with a pair of QSC K12 loudspeakers. Since then, Samson Events has grown into a full-service production company for corporate and private events, with an inventory that now includes more than 40 QSC powered loudspeakers. From compact K.2 Series loudspeakers to the KC12 and QSC L Class, each system has its own role within their productions.

LA108 and LA112 for larger productions

For larger events, Samson Events relies on the QSC LA108 and LA112 active line array systems, deliberately taking advantage of the different strengths of each model.

The LA108 is particularly valued for its clean and articulate sound. Its combination of excellent speech intelligibility and musicality makes it a highly versatile system. Thanks to its compact size and wide dispersion, Samson Events also uses the LA108 as a front fill on stage.

When more output and scalability are required, the company turns to the LA112. This includes larger audiences, outdoor events and full-scale productions where greater throw and output are needed.

This combination clearly demonstrates one of the strengths of QSC L Class: a scalable platform that allows a system to be tailored to the size and requirements of each production.

Practicality also plays an important role. Samson Events highlights features such as the RapidDeploy rigging system and one-touch array optimization as key advantages, helping crews deploy systems quickly and consistently.
