Popronde and QSC have become a familiar combination in our region. For many years, Schaekens Licht Geluid Video has been using QSC systems at various venues during the travelling music festival. This year, Audio Solvation was able to add something new to the mix. For the Heerlen and Sittard editions, we provided Schaekens with two different QSC systems to use during the performances. This gave them the opportunity not only to listen to the systems during a regular demo, but more importantly to experience them where it really matters: in real-world conditions, with different artists, venues and styles of music.

Yamaha Professional Audio expands its digital mixing portfolio with the new DM5 Series, consisting of the DM5 and DM5 Compact, together with three new R Series Utility I/O units. The new products are designed for applications including live sound, corporate AV, theatre, houses of worship, broadcast and fixed installations. US-based Samson Events provides a great example of how different QSC systems can complement each other within a single production inventory. The Los Angeles-based production company started out more than ten years ago with a pair of QSC K12 loudspeakers. Since then, Samson Events has grown into a full-service production company for corporate and private events, with an inventory that now includes more than 40 QSC powered loudspeakers. From compact K.2 Series loudspeakers to the KC12 and QSC L Class, each system has its own role within their productions.
